Review by Michael Leppert

6-volume Christian Adventure Series by Allen Brokken

Book 1, Light of Mine, kicks off the adventure of the battles of Light vs. Darkness, with intimations and hints at dangerous occurrences going on far away from the home of the family of the main characters.

The father of the family will be going into the frontier of Light-Dark to help in overcoming the forces of Darkness. Every Christian recognizes the symbolism of the reality the family of two parents and three children face side-stepping the Darkness and remaining with the Light.

Dad is a skilled builder and with the help of his family, builds a lighthouse that is enchanted in being lit by the spiritual light within the family members. As long as they are true to the Light, the beacon will shine and protect them from the Darkness.

In times of Darkness, every little bit of Light is a welcome presence and helps maintain good cheer despite outward conditions. This series of easy-to-read books is reminding the reader of The Light and the benefits of aligning with It.

Mr. Brokken has designed a line of study materials that dove-tail with the books, increasing their instruction value and inspirational pleasure. There is also a line of audio books available for playing in the car on long trips or in bed, to fall asleep to.
